Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized room or tube. The air pressure in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber is altered for effective therapy. As a result, the air pressure is three times higher than normal. Under these conditions, your lungs can gather more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. However your blood carries this oxygen throughout your body, most importantly this helps fight bacteria and stimulate the release of substances called growth factors and stem cells, which promote healing.

Oxygen therapy can be extremely beneficial for those who frequently experience low oxygen levels, regardless of the reason. If needed, regularly utilizing oxygen therapy can allow people to be more active and mobile by decreasing shortness of breath. It also can significantly improve quality of life, and in many cases extend life expectancy. It is also useful for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Pneumonia, Asthma, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, underdeveloped lungs in newborns, Heart failure, Cystic fibrosis, Sleep Apnea, Lung Disease, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, Diabetic Ulcers, Strokes, Migraines, Wound Healing, Inflammation, and more.

Your body’s tissues need an adequate supply of oxygen to function. Damaged tissue needs even more oxygen to survive. Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or mHBOT, occurs within an inflatable chamber. The pressure in our mHBOT chamber ranges between 1.4 ATA. Our medical grade oxygen concentrator supplies pure oxygen during your session. You are welcome to bring a book or device for entertainment purposes during your session. If you’re not sure which session cycle would be best for you, please feel free to contact us and book a consultation to get started!
